Kilchoman Batch Strength is a bold expression of Islay’s rugged character, crafted at one of Scotland’s few farm distilleries. Bottled at a robust 57% ABV, this release is presented non-chill filtered and with no added colour, preserving the whisky’s full intensity and natural depth.

On the nose, it opens with a wave of coastal peat smoke, balanced by bright citrus, green apple, and a touch of vanilla sweetness. The palate is rich and powerful—layers of smoky barbecue embers, salted caramel, and cracked black pepper give way to notes of tropical fruit and toasted oak. Despite its strength, it remains remarkably well-integrated, offering both punch and elegance.

The finish is long and warming, with lingering smoke, spice, and a subtle maritime salinity that speaks clearly of its Islay origin.
